The Sony MZ-N10 Portable MD Recorder!

The MZ-N10 is Sony's second NET.MD recorder and their tenth anniversary model.  NET.MD allows you to digitally transfer music from your PC to the MD recorder.  The MZ-N10 is Sony's BEST portable recorder as of November 2002. 

The Sony MZ-N10 is packed with all the features of the previous Sony MD recorders. Also contains the Minidisc connection to the Internet: Net.MD, which allows you to do high speed digital transfer of music (MP3) from your PC to the MZ-N10. 

Note:  This unit comes with Japanese SonicStage 1.5 software, NetMD Drivers  for the MZ-N10,  and a USB cable for high speed music downloads from your PC to the MZ-N10. The NetMD Drivers  for the MZ-N10 work on an English system and with English Open MG 2.2 and Sonicstage 1.2 and 1.5.  When you order we provide all the software and manuals you need for this unit. 

Information is provided for the MZ-N10 on the release date: Nov 21, 2002.  This is a Japanese domestic market recorder and is not available outside Japan on the release date - except of course through Japan-Direct!

• New and Improved NetMD allows high speed transfer up to 64 times sound speed between PC and MD.

• Equalizer with 7 steps of adjustment -10dB to +10dB across  6 bands.. Equalizer settings have four fixed presets :"Heavy, Pops, Jazz, Unique" and  2 custom  settings. Equalizer and "Virtual Headphone" are exclusive and cannot be used together.
• "Bookmark Track" function can register up to 20 "favorite tracks" from an MD.  Then you can easily  mark those tracks to play.
• Adjustable playback speed from -50% to +100%  in 13 steps without change of pitch - great for reviewing lecture notes.
• ATRAC DSP Type-S  for improved sound quality.
• Automatic track marking: Option to place track marks at regular intervals of 1 to 99 minutes during recording.
• Personal disk memory now stores group mode information (on/off).
• Adjustable Fast forward and reverse start delay:  NORMAL & QUICK settings. 
• Rehearsal Mode: holding the track mark button down for a few seconds enters rehearsal mode, allowing fine +/- adjustment of the track mark's position, just like home Minidisc decks.
• Charging and USB connections possible with or without the charging cradle.
